Meet Ms. Alexis
Hello, I’m Ms Alexis, the art teacher at REMS. I’m born and raised in Colorado and love all the beautiful hiking and camping our state has to offer. I also enjoy playing golf and watching golf. I’m an avid fantasy football player and love to root for the Broncos. I enjoy reading fantasy and science fiction books and listening to non fiction books.
I studied Art History at The University of Hawaii and also have a bachelor's degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from The Art Institute of Colorado. For my personal practice I love drawing portraits in pencil and painting flowers using watercolors and inks. I truly believe that anyone that wants to be an artist can be. I believe that we all have a unique perspective and that your art and my art should not look the same.
