Meet Ms. Jordan
I am beyond thrilled to be at Renaissance and joining the Crew! Although this is my first year here, I have been in education for 12 years and this marks my 10th year as a classroom teacher. I earned my BA in vocal performance from Colorado State University Pueblo; I later discovered how much I loved education and went on to obtain my alternative teaching license.
I am a proud Colorado native and absolutely adore this beautiful state! I have 2 amazing children, Spencer who will be in 4th grade and Neely who will be in Kindergarten. They are my greatest joy and are also looking forward to joining the Crew!
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, exploring new places, teaching voice lessons, serving on my church's worship team, and spending time outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include hiking, four-wheeling, and swimming.
I was drawn to REMS because here, we are encouraged to teach beyond academics with a desire for students to be seen and met exactly where they are, placing a strong focus on social and emotional development. I am a creative and passionate educator. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. I believe strong relationships and a growth mindset are crucial for success. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child learn, grow, and thrive!
