Meet Ms. Lauren
Hello! My name is Ms. Lauren, and I’m honored to serve the Renaissance community in my new role as Professional Learning Specialist. As the PLS, I’ll support teacher growth through instructional coaching, lead professional learning, and help cultivate the practices that make Renaissance so special. I’ve been part of the Renaissance community since 2007, teaching Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 5th grade.
Here’s a little about me. I grew up in Mammoth Lakes, California, nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. I earned my undergraduate degree from UC Irvine and later received my teaching license and Master’s in Education from the University of Denver. I married my high school sweetheart, and this year we'll celebrate our 20th anniversary! I’m also a proud mom of twins, Charlie and Toby, who attend Renaissance. Our furry family member is a Lab mix named Ender. Outside of school, I love mountain biking, traveling, reading, and exploring the outdoors with my family.
I’m passionate about Renaissance and excited to partner with our staff to create meaningful learning experiences for every child. Our students will change the world, and I’m honored to be part of their journey. We Are Crew!
